In what's become a running theme this season, Pymatuning Valley gave their fans yet another huge victory on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mathews 50-17 at home. The squad ran away with 40 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.
Jolene Sharpe continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with seven steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Mae Struna was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Meanwhile, Grand Valley was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 34-29 to Southeast.
Pymatuning Valley has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. As for Grand Valley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-4.
