Football Recap: Des Lacs-Burlington Piles Up the Points Against South Prairie/Max

Des Lacs-Burlington put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 33-6 win over South Prairie/Max. The result was nothing new for the Lakers, who have now won three contests by 27 points or more so far this season.

Des Lacs-Burlington's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for South Prairie/Max, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Des Lacs-Burlington will challenge rival Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Lakers 5, Velva/Garrison/Drake/Anamoose 7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, South Prairie/Max is set to square off against their familiar foe Bottineau on Friday.
