Basketball Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Heritage Academy can now relate to. They took a blow against the East Valley Athletes for Christ Eagles on Wednesday, falling 55-19. Having soared to a lofty 62 points in the game before, the Heroes couldn't push the score so high this time.

Heritage Academy dropped their record down to 9-7 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-1.

Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for East Valley Athletes for Christ, they will take on Heritage Academy Gateway at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (Heritage Academy Gateway: 26.8, East Valley Athletes for Christ: 18.4) so any points scored will be well earned.
