Volleyball Recap: Danville Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Danville had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Mooresville Pioneers 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-17, 25-11.

Ella Vandermark paced Danville's offense, picking up seven kills. Vandermark got some help from Cecilia Prather and her 18 assists. Prather also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Rylee Bumgardner, each putting up two.

Danville's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Mooresville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Danville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Bloomington South on the 20th. As for Mooresville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against New Palestine on the 22nd.
