Baseball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin lost against Watchung Hills Regional last Wednesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Franklin took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Watchung Hills Regional. Franklin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Franklin got a good showing from Dafraily Sosa, who struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Watchung Hills Regional, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin will face off against Montgomery at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watchung Hills Regional, they will take on Somerville at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
