Basketball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast's last matchup with Alburnett could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Friday. The Rebels were beaten by the Pirates 62-28. The Rebels just can't catch a break and have now endured seven defeats in a row dating back to last season.

Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Alburnett, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Northeast and Alburnett will both be playing Bellevue the next time they take the court. The Pirates will host the Comets at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rebels will host them at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th.
