After losing to White Plains the last time they met, Glencoe decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Yellowjackets came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

Glencoe walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 23-25, 25-23.

Mia Talbot paced Glencoe's offense, picking up 28 kills. Talbot got some help from Kinlee Montgomery and her 21 assists. Riley Helms controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Glencoe's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for White Plains, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Glencoe will head out to take on Ider at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for White Plains, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hokes Bluff at 5:00 p.m. on September 8.
