Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Arrowhead Christian

Arrowhead Christian owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Thursday. They blew past the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx 8-0. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matchups by eight runs or more this season.

Lausanne Collegiate's batters probably weren't too happy with Bobby Mahoney, who pitched a no hitter and racked up 12 Ks (he gave up two walks). What's more, Mahoney gave up only zero hits, the fewest he's had since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Diesel Toth, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and two doubles. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in stolen bases.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Arrowhead Christian, bringing their record for this year to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Lausanne Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
