 It was a good run, but  Woodland Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their  four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell  3-0 to the Big Valley Christian Lions. Woodland Christian was red-hot at the plate headed into the  game (they scored no less than ten  runs in the six  matches prior) but Big Valley Christian's pitcher proved too tough.
 Woodland Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Teagan Hayes, who  went 1-for-3 with a  double.
 On Big Valley Christian's side,  Ava Hernandez was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  didn't allow a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 14 over seven innings pitched. Hernandez has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances. Hernandez was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Woodland Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Big Valley Christian, their victory was  their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 10-6-1.
 Woodland Christian will take on Foresthill at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Foresthill's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6  runs per game  this season, so Woodland Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Big Valley Christian, they will be playing at home against Millennium at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Big Valley Christian and Millennium are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
