Volleyball Recap: Sachse Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sachse can now relate to. They came up short against the Rockwall Yellowjackets on Thursday, falling 3-0. If the Mustangs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Yellowjackets when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-14, 25-14.

Audrey St. Clair was nothing short of spectacular for Rockwall: she had 16 digs and two aces. St. Clair is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 16 games she's played. Harper Barnett also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Sachse's loss dropped their record down to 19-18. As for Rockwall, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 27-15.

As of now, neither Sachse nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
