Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They enjoyed a cozy 73-57 win over the McFarland Spartans on Tuesday. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 64-32 loss the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Jefferson and bumps their season record up to 9-14. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.5 points over those games. As for McFarland, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.

Coming up, Jefferson will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitewater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for McFarland, they will head out on the road to challenge Edgewood at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Edgewood will roll in looking for their 23rd straight win, something McFarland surely won't give up without a fight.
