Basketball Recap: Johnson County Sports Association Takes a Loss

The Johnson County Sports Association Lions came up short against the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers on Friday, falling 41-20.

Despite the loss, Johnson County Sports Association still got an impressive performance from Kayley Myers, who went 5 of 9 on her way to 11 points. Haylee Flaniken was another key player, putting up three points and five blocks.

Johnson County Sports Association's defeat dropped their record down to 3-14-1. As for East Texas Homeschool Sports, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 16-13 record this season.

Johnson County Sports Association wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 39-8 loss against Westlake Academy on the 7th. East Texas Homeschool Sports does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
