Baseball Recap: St. Albert Takes a Loss

St. Albert was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-3 on Tuesday.

St. Albert's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Looking ahead, St. Albert will face off against Logan-Magnolia at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Falcons' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Martensdale-St. Mary's, they will square off against Southwest Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
