Basketball Recap: Walton's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

Walton came into Tuesday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 57-45 victory over the Paxton Bobcats on Tuesday. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bobcats, too.

Paxton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Garrett Lowry, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Lowry has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cade Stewart, who posted ten points.

The win got Walton back to even at 11-11. As for Paxton, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Walton has already played their next game (against Destin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Paxton will be playing in front of their home fans against Poplar Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
