Softball Recap: Flathead Starts Season with Loss at Home

Flathead unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 11-8 to the Great Falls Bison on Thursday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Olivia Nyman made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Brandt, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.

Flathead didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-0 defeat against Russell on the 27th. As for Great Falls, they have also already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Glacier on the 27th.
