Basketball Recap: Pacifica Christian Finds Playoff Glory Versus Centennial

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pacifica Christian had no problem doing just that on Friday. They managed an 84-80 win over the Centennial Huskies. Winning may never get old, but the Tritons sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

EJ Spillman was his usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double with 33 points, 11 rebounds, and ten assists. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Hudson Reynolds, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 19 points and eight boards.

Pacifica Christian's victory bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Centennial, they moved to 18-17 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pacifica Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 64-60 loss against Fairmont Prep on the 1st. As for Centennial, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-48 defeat against Sierra Canyon on the 4th.
