Basketball Recap: Harrison Comes Up Short

Harrison was the 59-52 winner over Campbell when they last played one another back in November of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Harrison Hoyas fell just short of the Campbell Spartans by a score of 62-60 on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Tuesday (56), the Hoyas still had to take the loss.

Harrison's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Campbell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harrison will be home for the holidays to greet South Cobb at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Harrison knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully South Cobb likes a good challenge. As for Campbell, they will host Osborne at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbell is facing Osborne at the right time seeing as Osborne is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
