Football Recap: Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Sesser-Valier/Waltonville, Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 36-28 win over the Red Hill Salukis. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Bearcats considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

The victory got Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton back to even at 3-3. As for Red Hill, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-2 record.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Christopher-Zeigler-Royalton will face off against rival Carmi-White County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Red Hill is set to challenge their familiar foe Eldorado at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
