Basketball Recap: Seymour Wins Going Away Against Pittsfield

Seymour won against Augusta Southeastern last Friday with 66 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The Seymour Indians took down the Pittsfield Saukees 66-50. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saukees, too.

Seymour's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points per game. As for Pittsfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Seymour will square off against Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Liberty will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Seymour surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pittsfield, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Auburn at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Pittsfield has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
