Kempsville put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Greenbrier Christian Academy Gators. While the Chiefs didn't have the best season last year (they finished 9-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Kelsey Coronato paced Kempsville's offense, picking up six kills. Coronato got some help from Trinity Riordan and her ten assists. Riordan was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Kempsville's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.

Kempsville has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Wake Prep Academy on the 13th. As for Greenbrier Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Norfolk Christian on the 13th.
