Irvington entered their tilt with Rye Neck on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 24-16 win over the Panthers. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered a 35-15 loss the last time these two teams met.

Irvington's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Rye Neck, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Irvington is set to square off against their familiar foe Dobbs Ferry at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rye Neck will face off against rival Haldane at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
