Basketball Recap: Hale Beats Milan for Their Third Straight Win

Hale had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 67-44 margin over the Milan Wildcats. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 149th, while the Wildcats are ranked 546th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Milan lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Keaton T Weter, who went 8-for-20 en route to 19 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Sizemore, who had 14 points.

Hale pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.0 points over those games. As for Milan, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-19.

As of now, neither Hale nor Milan have any future games scheduled.
