Basketball Recap: Edmond Santa Fe Takes a Loss

Edmond Santa Fe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 56-43 to the Piedmont Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Wildcats are ranked 92nd).

Edmond Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Piedmont, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Edmond Santa Fe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 79-43 defeat against Edmond Memorial on the 15th. As for Piedmont, they will take on Eisenhower at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
