Volleyball Recap: Murphysboro Find Success

Murphysboro won the last time they faced Christopher and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Red Devils walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Bearcats.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Murphysboro was: they took both sets by at least 15 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-5.

Among those leading the charge was Norah Bailey, who had three digs and three aces.

Murphysboro's record is now 4-1. As for Christopher, their loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.

Murphysboro wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Carbondale on the 4th. As for Christopher, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Cobden on the 3rd.
