Basketball Game Preview: Nucla Mustangs vs. Ridgway Demons

Nucla hasn't had much luck against Ridgway recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Nucla Mustangs will challenge the Ridgway Demons at 5:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Nucla was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 55-50 to Dove Creek.

Meanwhile, Ridgway ended up a good deal behind Crested Butte on Friday and lost 56-42. The Demons have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Nucla's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Ridgway, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Nucla came up short against Ridgway in their previous matchup back in January, falling 65-58. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Ridgway's Isaac Baskfield, who went 10 of 17 to rack up 27 points and five boards.
