Baseball Recap: Quaker Valley Takes a Loss

Quaker Valley and Riverside squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Quaker Valley had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The Quakers haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Quaker Valley's loss dropped their record down to 17-7-2. As for Riverside, they are on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.

Quaker Valley is taking a road trip to take on Bedford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Quakers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bisons have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
