Recap: Hemingford Bobcats vs. Kimball Longhorns
The Hemingford Bobcats were the 34-26 winner over the Kimball Longhorns when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Hemingford lost to Kimball on the road by a decisive 35-20 margin on Friday. Hemingford has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grace Anderson was the offensive standout of the matchup as she almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 14 rebounds. Faith Bohac was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
Hemingford's loss dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Kimball, their victory bumped their record up to 6-12.
Hemingford and Morrill will face off at 5:00 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hemingford is coming into the match with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Morrill will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win. As for Kimball, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mitchell at 11:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Kimball is facing Mitchell at the right time seeing as Mitchell is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
