Soccer Recap: Osbourn Takes a Loss

Osbourn lost against Woodbridge back in March of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles came up short against the Vikings, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Osbourn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 227th, while Woodbridge are ranked 97th).

This is the second loss in a row for Osbourn and nudges their season record down to 4-6-1. As for Woodbridge, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Osbourn will take on Battlefield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodbridge, they will square off against Forest Park at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
