Volleyball Recap: Versailles Comes Up Short

Versailles was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Warrensburg. If Versailles was looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Warrensburg when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Versailles' loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Warrensburg, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Versailles will challenge Sherwood at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Warrensburg, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Smith-Cotton on the 13th.
