Basketball Recap: Lynwood Takes a Loss

Lynwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 48-40 to the Peninsula Panthers.

Lynwood's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Peninsula, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.

Lynwood and Peninsula could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Lynwood (ranked 912th) will meet Cabrillo (ranked 288th) at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Peninsula will face off against Torrance at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 458 places (704 vs. 246).
