Basketball Game Preview: Beardstown Tigers vs. Marquette Catholic Explorers

The Beardstown Tigers will face off against the Marquette Catholic Explorers at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 33-31 heartbreaker at the hands of Roxana. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Beardstown now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Marquette Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.
