After only seven points in their last matchup, Montesano made sure to put some points up on the board against Elma on Friday. The Bulldogs took their game with ease, bagging a 42-6 victory over the Eagles. Considering the Bulldogs have won six contests by more than 27 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Montesano's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyson Perry led the charge by rushing for 25 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 134 yards and one touchdown. Zach Timmons was Perry's top target, picking up zero receiving yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Montesano proved: they limited Elma to a paltry 0.9 yards per carry. The Bulldogs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 10.2.

Montesano's record now sits at 8-1. As for Elma, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Looking ahead, Montesano will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Annie Wright at 1:00 p.m. The Gators' defense has only allowed 10.2 points per game this season, so the Bulldogs' offense will have their work cut out for them. Elma does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
