Softball Recap: Caldera vs. Summit Storm

Caldera stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 10-4 margin over the Summit Storm. The victory was familiar territory for Caldera who now have 12 in a row.

Brooklyn Chapin made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and not a single walk). Chapin has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive pitching appearances. Chapin was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with a home run.
