Softball Recap: Glenbrook South Comes Up Short

Glenbrook South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Prairie Ridge Wolves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wolves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 on Saturday.

Glenbrook South saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alex Arey, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.

Glenbrook South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Prairie Ridge, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 10-0-2.

Coming up, Glenbrook South will face off against Glenbrook North at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Titans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Prairie Ridge, they are taking a road trip to challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
