Volleyball Recap: Trinity Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win + How To Watch

Trinity had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Thomasville on Thursday. Trinity was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Thomasville. The victory was familiar territory for Trinity, who have now won four matches in a row.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Trinity was: they took every set by at least 21 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-3, 25-2, 25-4.

Trinity's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Avalynn Johnson, who had 26 assists and two aces. Johnson has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 45 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Avery Moffitt, who had 11 kills and six digs.

They weren't the only good servers: Trinity was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September of 2024.

The victory got Trinity back to even at 10-10. As for Thomasville, they dropped their record down to 1-14 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Trinity will welcome West Davidson at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Thomasville, they will head out on the road to square off against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
