Baseball Recap: Lee Takes a Loss

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 21-3 to the Abingdon Falcons. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-2 back in March.

Lee's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Abingdon, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Lee will challenge rival Ridgeview at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Abingdon is set to take on their familiar foe Central Wise at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
