Volleyball Recap: Union Comes Up Short

Union had lost nine straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped down to 1-12 to make it ten. They came up short against the Blue River Valley Vikings, falling 3-0. If the Rockets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Blue River Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-13. They not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 18th (when they won 3-0).

Blue River Valley was led to victory by Bekah Grim and Kendra McQueen. Grim had 14 digs and two aces, while McQueen had 12 digs. Those 12 digs gave McQueen a new career-high.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blue River Valley, they will take on Tri at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
