Volleyball Recap: Culver Community Comes Up Short

Culver Community lost against Pioneer back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cavaliers came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-16, 25-16.

Hayden Lute paced Culver Community's offense, picking up five kills. Lute were helped by Chloe Lewis and Sophie Grossman-Norris, who contributed five assists each.

Culver Community's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Pioneer, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Culver Community will venture away from home to square off against North Judson-San Pierre at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pioneer, they will face off against New Haven at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
