Football Game Preview: Blairsville vs. North Star

On Friday North Star will take on Blairsville at 7:00 PM. The teams both have had a rocky road up to this point with nine consecutive losses for North Star and six for Blairsville.

North Star have to be hurting after a devastating 20-48 loss at the hands of Meyersdale last Friday. A silver lining for North Star was the play of senior Hunter Tremain, who rushed for 225 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with ten tackles Tremain was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-49, which was the final score in Blairsville's tilt against Ligonier Valley. Blairsville were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-28.
