Volleyball Recap: Bear Creek Comes Up Short

Bear Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Central Catholic Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bruins of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

Bear Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Central Catholic, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bear Creek will welcome Weston Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central Catholic, they will challenge St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
