It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bishop Montgomery can now relate to. They came up short against the JSerra Catholic Lions on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The Knights' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-21, 25-17.

JSerra Catholic found their leader in sophomore Madison Goodrich, who had 18 digs and two aces. Goodrich has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Bishop Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 22-6. As for JSerra Catholic, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14.

Bishop Montgomery does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for JSerra Catholic, they will face off against West Ranch at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
