Basketball Recap: Union Star Comes Up Short

Union Star was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-13 loss at the hands of the Princeton Tigers. The match marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Union Star's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Princeton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Star will head out to challenge Northeast Nodaway at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. Union Star is facing Northeast Nodaway at the right time seeing as Northeast Nodaway is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Princeton, they are taking a road trip to face off against Stanberry at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th. One thing working in Princeton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
