Soccer Recap: Union Mine Comes Up Short

Union Mine's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Amador Buffaloes by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Diamondbacks have lost by just one goal.

Bryan Ramos and Evan Fees scored both of Union Mine's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Union Mine's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6-1. As for Amador, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Union Mine will face off against Argonaut at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Union Mine is facing Argonaut at the right time seeing as Argonaut is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Amador, they will square off against El Dorado at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
