Baseball Game Preview: Trenton Trojans vs. Allen Park Jaguars

Trenton is 2-8 against Allen Park since May of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Trojans will host the Jaguars at 4:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Trenton 2.2, Allen Park 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Monday just wasn't the day for Trenton's offense. They fell just short of Anderson by a score of 1-0 on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Trojans' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Easton Danosky was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

At the plate, Allen Park saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reece Phillips, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Another was Joey Sackrison, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Allen Park's defeat dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Trenton, their loss dropped their record down to 17-4.

Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. Trenton has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9 hits per game. However, it's not like Allen Park struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.8 hits.
