Softball Recap: Longmeadow Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Longmeadow came tearing into Thursday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Pittsfield Generals by a score of 7-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lancers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2025.

Isabella Blue spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on five hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Camryn Schrager, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Charlotte Kasprzak also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.

Longmeadow's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Pittsfield, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Longmeadow will head out to challenge Taconic at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Pittsfield, they will venture away from home to take on Monument Mountain at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
