Volleyball Recap: Hemet Takes a Loss

Hemet was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Liberty Bison. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bison this season, with their most recent loss being a 3-1 defeat last Monday.

Hemet was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 13 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13.

Hemet's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Liberty, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 19-9 record this season.

Hemet has already played their next game, a 1-0 defeat against Aquinas on the 29th. As for Liberty, they will face off against Citrus Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
