Volleyball Recap: Wasatch Wasps vs. Clearfield Falcons        
        
		
             It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wasatch can now relate to. They fell just short of the Clearfield Falcons by a score of  2-1 on Thursday. While the Wasps didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons  25-20 in the first  set.
 Wasatch started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22,  25-20.
  Elise Zollinger paced Wasatch's offense, picking up eight kills. Zollinger got some help from 
 Juliette Zollinger and her 18 assists. 
 Sydnee Mcphie controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
 Clearfield found their leader in sophomore  Erin Lowry, who  had 12  digs and two  aces.
 Wasatch has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost four of their last five matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record  this season. As for Clearfield, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 20-11 record  this season.
 Wasatch does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clearfield has already played their next matchup,  a  2-1  victory against Springville on the 8th.
