Basketball Recap: Triplains/Brewster Takes a Loss

Triplains/Brewster was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the St. Francis Indians 61-26. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-9.

St. Francis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Delaney Myers, who posted 19 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. That's the most steals Myers has posted since back in December of 2024. Eden Britton was another key player, almost dropping a triple-double with 14 points, nine boards, and nine steals.

Triplains/Brewster's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for St. Francis, their victory bumped their record up to 3-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Triplains/Brewster will face off against Logan/Palco at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis, they will challenge Wallace County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
