            Baseball Preview: Fishers Tigers vs. Plainfield Quakers        
        
		
        
        
            The Fishers Tigers will square off against the Plainfield Quakers at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Fishers is coming into the  matchup hot, having won their last three games.
Last Friday, Fishers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  16-14  win over Carroll.
 Reid Garber looked comfortable as he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit.
 At the plate, Fishers got a  massive  performance out of  Collin Hebert, who  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run. Those  four  RBI gave  Hebert a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jase Ruggles, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Plainfield gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener  on Friday. They never let Highland get on the board and left with  a   4-0  victory.
 Jack Davis looked comfortable as he  didn't allow a single  earned run over four innings pitched.
 On the hitting side,  Ty White was  excellent,  going 2-for-3 with one  home run.  Gavin Lykins was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  doubles and one  RBI.
 Fishers' win was  their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Plainfield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
