After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Florida, Tate was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out the Crestview Bulldogs 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Aggies have posted since April 9, 2024.

Zane Warrington spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered three earned runs on four hits and racked up eight Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Kaden Posta, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Kaleb Posta was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

The win got Tate back to even at 3-3. As for Crestview, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Tate and Crestview will both be playing Fort Walton Beach the next time they take the field. Tate will head out to face Fort Walton Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Crestview will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
